Madison Arts Programs
Through performance, education, and outreach, we connect gifted artists with new audiences, strengthen communities, preserve culture, and create spaces where creativity can flourish.
Madison Arts Showcases
Madison Arts Showcases are multidisciplinary experiences designed to highlight exceptional artists across a wide range of creative forms.
These showcases do more than provide a stage. They introduce artists to attentive new audiences, encourage collaboration, produce professional content, and help artists strengthen their public presence and career momentum.
The programming encompasses live music, singer-songwriter performances, visual-art exhibitions, ballet and dance, creative writing, fashion, culinary arts, photography, and collaborative and interdisciplinary performances.
Savor
An immersive celebration of music, food, visual art, and story.
Savor brings multiple artistic disciplines together in one intimate experience. Guests may encounter live music, original compositions, visual artists, authors, chefs, and other creatives throughout the evening.
The program is intentionally designed to help artists move beyond visibility alone. Participating artists may receive audience-development support, professional photography, promotional assets, branding guidance, and opportunities for future performances or releases.
Savor is more than a showcase. It is a launchpad for artistic growth.
Friends Feast
Where culinary artistry meets community
Friends Feast is an intimate chef-guided dining experience that brings people together around food, music, storytelling, and human connection.
Each gathering highlights culinary artists as masterful creators whose work deserves to be shared and celebrated. Featured chefs guide guests through thoughtfully designed courses while musicians and other artists shape the atmosphere of the evening.
Friends Feast allows guests to slow down, savor the moment, and encounter art through taste, sound, story, and shared space. It also helps Madison Arts fulfill its mission of coming alongside remarkable artists, connecting them with new audiences, and building a city that values local artistry.
Madison Arts Jazz Jam
Live performance, real-time mentorship, and community connection
The Madison Arts Jazz Jam showcases the extraordinary jazz community of Houston while preserving and advancing one of America’s foundational art forms.
Professional musicians begin each gathering with a high-level performance before opening the stage to other artists in the community. Students, emerging performers, and seasoned professionals create together in real time.
The Jazz Jam provides offers direct mentorship between students and professionals, performance experience in a supportive environment, networking and paid-work opportunities, and exposure to jazz repertoire, improvisation, and professional standards, all while providing a free cultural experience for the public and serving as a gathering place for Houston's artists and art lovers.
Arts & Culture Club
Creativity, healing, and connection through community partnership
The Arts & Culture Club is Madison Arts’ outreach programming model, developed in partnership with organizations such as New Hope Housing.
The program creates intimate, high-quality arts experiences for residents and communities that have experienced homelessness or other barriers to cultural access.
The purpose is not simply to entertain. These gatherings help create friendship, restore dignity, encourage positive mental wellness, and establish meaningful points of connection within residential communities.
Programming may include live concerts, painting and poetry, culinary experiences, dance and movement, creative writing and storytelling, plant-based wellness activities, and holiday and community celebrations.
Internships and Artist Development
Madison Arts provides hands-on internships and mentorship for students interested in arts management, multimedia, event production, and creative entrepreneurship.
The program has included students from Houston Community College, the University of Houston, and creative interns working in Houston and Charleston.
The goal is to help each participant leave with more than a completed course. We want them to leave with skills, relationships, professional assets, and a clearer path toward meaningful work.
